MWRA Walnut Hill Treatment Plant, Marlborough, MA
A 300 million dollars water treatment plant is being built by MWRA at Marlborough for City of Boston. Globalís scope of work consists of architecture design, electrical engineering design for the power distribution system and construction administration. The utility is to deliver the power to the facility through two 69kV overhead transmission lines.

Smurfit-Stone Corp., Power System Revamp Project, Coshocton, OH
The original plant power system consisted of two 69-4.16kV, 20MVA unit substations and a 25MVA generator, which was tied directly to the utility via a 25MVA transformer. Due to the growth of plant demand, the two 69kV OCBís that feed the two 69-4.16kV unit substations were tripped occasionally due to overloads. The plant then decided to revamp the entire power system by converting the plant 4.16kV power distribution system to the 13.8kV power distribution system. The total process took four stages in span of five years to complete.
